Joquer has been designing and manufacturing high-end upholstered furniture since 1983. Based in Viladecans, Catelonia, the company has grown with the mission of creating products that powerfully embody its Mediterranean roots. In concentrating the greatest effort in keeping this goal at the forefront of their output, the company has established a strong identity which is reflected in every piece, and which is key to their continued success.
Joquer began with a team of six people, with founder Archivo Joquer in charge of most of the design responsibilities. From these humble beginnings the company has come a long way, and today Joquer sees itself as an arena for top European designers to collaborate. Within this arena, professional ties develop into friendships and the resulting products reflect the closeness of these relationships. The differences in style and method between designers only makes for more exciting and unexpected results, designs which are greater than the sum of their parts.
For Joquer, good design is found in a balance between discipline, creativity, quality and elegance, all the while keeping comfort as a top priority. Joquer takes relaxation seriously and each and every piece offers itself as an inviting haven of rest. And what's more, all Joquer's upholstered furniture comes with fully removable cushions and frame covers, proving that perfection doesn't have to come at the price of practicality.
